eHealth Advanced Training

The Alberta Health eHealth Support Services Team is pleased to offer a “Privacy Self-Assessment” advanced training session, on Thursday, May 4, 2017. The session will be available for participants to attend in person or remotely via web conference. There are three different offerings during the day, to best accommodate busy clinician schedules.

Morning: 7:00AM – 9:00AM * Enrollment is now closed.

Lunch: 12:00PM – 2:00PM * Enrollment is now closed.

Afternoon: 4:00PM – 6:00PM * Enrollment is now closed.

Intended Audience:

  • Authorized custodians under the HIA who have been using Netcare for at least 12 months

  • Persons responsible for

    Health Information Act

    (HIA) compliance in their place of work (example: Privacy Officer, Site Access Administrator, Clinic Manager, etc.)

  • Persons that use Alberta Netcare in their place of work

Modality:

  • In Person (Edmonton location): Details will be emailed to enrolled participants

  • Web conference: Sessions have reached full capacity for this modality

  • Understand the “periodic assessment” requirement under Alberta’s HIA as it applies to Netcare

  • Set an appropriate standard for your assessment

  • How to assess your practice against a standard

  • What to do with the results
