Access Alberta Netcare Portal (ANP) for Community Facilities

You will only be allowed to login if you are part of the Alberta Health Services (AHS) secure network. 


Login to Alberta Netcare Portal from a community facility via Citrix
If you are working in a community healthcare location (non-Alberta Health Services (AHS)), you will need an RSA SecurID token  to authenticate the network.

Remote Access to Alberta Netcare Portal also requires the following:
• User ID
• Citrix application (i.e., Citrix Receiver/Workspace)

RSA SecurID Tokens

Access to Alberta Netcare and other eHealth initiatives is secured through 2-factor authentication (2FA), which requires an RSA SecurID Access Token. When accessing from a site in the community, it is considered accessing remotely.

User ID

You will receive your User ID from the individual/manager who requested remote access on your behalf, or via a system-generated automatic email notification.

Citrix Receiver / Workspace App

The latest version of Citrix Receiver/Workspace App is recommended for Alberta Netcare Portal (ANP) access. Refer to the Citrix Upgrade FAQ document for steps to ensure your version is up to date. If you have other questions, contact the Provincial Service Desk at 1-877-931-1638.
