As of  June 29, 2016, immunization records from across the province are available in Alberta Netcare. Previously, this data was only available from the Edmonton area.

At the click of a button, all clinical users will be able to find out if their patients’ immunizations are up to date and view relevant details, including the date, vaccine/antigen and service location .

This data assists all immunizers, primary care providers, emergency clinicians and specialists to make clinical decisions.

The immunization records come from Alberta Health Services (AHS), and include publicly funded vaccines and some travel clinics, as well as community pharmacies (influenza vaccines). Immunization data for AHS facilities go back 20-50 years, and pharmacy sites go back 6-10 years.

Please refer the Quick Reference  section to find out more about using immunization data in Alberta Netcare.
