Immunization Direct Submission Mechanism (IDSM)
Access & User Registration
Due to the overwhelming response from Alberta's dedicated health care professionals to be compliant with the immunization regulation changes coming into effect on Jan 1, 2021, Alberta Health is experiencing a backlog in processing user access requests to the Immunization Direct Submission Mechanism (IDSM).
Be assured Alberta Health will not be seeking to penalize clinicians who have not yet received access due to processing delays. We recognize you are all doing your best to be compliant with the regulation during this busy and difficult time and appreciate your patience.

IMPORTANT:
|
The Immunization Direct Submission Mechanism (IDSM) is a standalone web application that facilitates the electronic submission of the immunization and assessment event information from health practitioners to the provincial immunization repository (Imm/ARI) through a web browser.
A user must complete an IDSM User Registration form (click on link above) and be authorized by a health practitioner to obtain access to IDSM.
IDSM access is supported remotely from outside the AHS network with the provisioning of an RSA SecurID Remote token and the use of an Internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer (IE), Chrome).
RSA SecurID remote access tokens are a self-contained method to securely and effectively authenticate user access to IDSM. There are two token types offered: soft or hard tokens.
Please fill out the registration form and fax it to eHealth Netcare Support Services 1-844-630-0877.
