The Government of Alberta, in collaboration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP), has mandated the implementation of Real-Time Integration (RTI) for immunization reporting, effective July 2026.

Alberta Blue Cross no longer submits immunization claims to Imm/ARI on behalf of pharmacies. To remain eligible for the publicly funded vaccine program, pharmacies must be integrated with RTI-Imm/ARI.

If your pharmacy is still submitting immunization records through the Immunization Direct Submission Mechanism (IDSM), please contact eHealth Services Provider Support as soon as possible:

IDSM is a standalone application that facilitates the electronic submission of immunization and assessment event information from health practitioners to the provincial immunization repository (Imm/ARI) through a web browser.
